Bella Update

I introduced you guys to my gal pal's new puppy, Bella, in a post last month. If somehow you missed that, click here. This little puppy is so sweet, so mischievous, so loving, why, I get a warm feeling just holding her and playing with her.

She is already puppy pad trained, actually likes to take baths, sleeps in her own bed when my gal has to go to work (but sleeps with her at night). About the only complaint I ever hear my gal make is that when she gets home from work Bella's toys are always scattered all around the room. If only she could train her to pick up her toys and put them away, she says.

Well, this has worked out well. She, her kids who are still there with her, their many friends, her mom and other family members all love Bella and pamper her. And Bella has adjusted to her knew home and new family just swell.

I don't get to go over often and see Bella, but she's always glad to see me when I do. My lady friend and I went Christmas shopping for Bella and got her a little doggie jacket, sized extra, extra small. This has been an unusually cold winter so far, at least for these parts, so that will keep the little baby warm. I tried to come up with a good picture of her wearing it, but above is the best I could do. She's trying to crawl into my lap. Click on the picture and it will download into a larger, more detailed view. Go ahead, she's such a pretty baby! Oh, and "Santa" also brought Bella some puppy snacks and some new toys. She was a very good doggie this year. Well, for what part of the year she was around. She was born in October.

Bella almost makes me think about getting my own cuddly little lap dog. Almost. I just love the self-sufficiency of cats.
